With summer upon us and everyone concentrating on perfecting their bikini bodies, we’ve been hard at work in our textile printing workshop creating these fantastic custom printed running T-shirts for one of the world’s most scenic races: the Isle of Skye Half Marathon.
Each year this race takes place on the picturesque islands off the coast of Scotland at the beginning of summer, just when the island really hits it’s peak time. And each year the organisers create these amazing personalised technical t-shirts to give away to every participant.
For this year’s personalised running tees, our client chose to print their design on the front and back of white polyester t-shirts with 2-colour screen-printing both sides.
Screen-printing is one of our favourite and most popular printing techniques that allows for a long-lasting and durable print on all types of garments.
With the possibility of printing up to 6 spot colours in a 30x30cm space, it is by far the best value-for-money textile printing method on the market!
The design team at the Half Skye Marathon organisation always send us their artwork in high resolution and excellent quality to ensure a clear and eye-catching result!
Another possibility if you need to create customised t-shirts for sports events, is printing with sublimation printing on white, 100% polyester technical t-shirts. This method allows full colour images to be printed at a reasonable cost onto white sports t-shirts without affecting the characteristics of the T-shirt. That is to say, it remains 100% breathable and quick-drying due to the chemical process which produces the indeleble print.
One of the most economic choices for custom running t-shirts is the Roly Montecarlo model. Chosen also for this order, it is very popular for sporting events such as marathons, sports days, fun runs, cycling races and many more.
As you can see it looks like a great day was had by all who took part! Made all the better by receiving their promotional running tee to remind them of the day’s challenge!
(One of the runners is wearing last year’s T-shirt too – also produced here at tshirts-uk.com! 🙂 )
